One downside for these heads is the exhaust valve seats are not hardened. This could be a problem if the engine is under a high load for a long period of time. The compression might a bit high but if you can get at least 91 octane fuel they will work fine.

Depending on how wild you are going, removing as much of the hump in the exhaust port as you can, and opening up the bowls under the valves is the normal thing to do. Don't polish the intake ports.
